  1. What is a gulet?

A gulet is a wooden yacht, that offers a more traditional and authentic experience during the cruise. The average size of a gulet is between 20 m and 30 m, having from 4 to 8 double cabins. Originating from the coast of Turkey, gulet boats have become extremely popular for charter in Croatia, Greece and other parts of Europe.

2. Why charter a gulet in Croatia?

Croatia is one of the main areas where sailing with gulets is most common, being also one of the most visited European countries during the summer season. When renting a gulet for a private cruise there is possibility to visit more than 1.000 beautiful islands on the Dalmatian Coast in full comfort and privacy.

3. What’s included in the charter price?

Included in the charter price are accommodation on board, fuel for cruising, generator work, fuel for tender transfer to/from the yacht, crew and their expenses, insurance of the yacht, Wi-Fi.

4. What’s not included in the charter price?

In the weekly charter price the following is not included; food options (options available to select during booking – half board, full board, based on preferences), drinks packages, port and tourist fees (can vary from 1.000€ – 1.500€ depending on gulet), usage of water toys, sports and recreational equipment (jet ski, water ski, etc).

5. Are all gulet crewed?

Yes, all gulets, yachts and mini cruisers are crewed. A team of professionals is there to ensure an unforgettable experience during the gulet cruise in Croatia. Crews member are; captian, chef, hostess and sailor.

6. When is the best time to rent a gulet in Croatia?

The charter season in Croatia starts early June and last until October. July and August and usually the busiest months, and considered the peak of the summer season in Croatia.

7. For how long can I rent a gulet?

The charter period is from Saturday to Saturday, or Sunday-Sunday. Gulets are rented on a weekly basis, check-in starting from 17 pm, and check-out available until 09 am.
